What data is collected

This site does not require user accounts, logins, or payment information. Here is what gets collected:

• Contact form submissions - When you submit a project request through the /request page, the form data (name, email, message) is sent directly via email and saved in a private inbox on this site so I can review and respond to your request.
• Analytics data - Microsoft Clarity collects anonymous session recordings and heatmaps to help understand how visitors use the site. Ahrefs collects basic analytics data. Both are third-party services with their own privacy policies.
• First-party traffic statistics - This site records public page paths, referral domains, approximate device type, country when available, and clicks on contact or sponsored links. It uses no cookies or browser storage. An identifier derived from your network address and browser information is protected with a server-side secret and changes monthly; the original address and browser string are not saved in these analytics records. These estimates help me understand readership and improve the site. Records are retained for up to 180 days and are not shared with advertisers. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected.

Cookies

This site does not set any first-party cookies. However, third-party services - Microsoft Clarity and Ahrefs - may set their own cookies for analytics purposes. A language preference cookie (lang-preference) may be set to remember your language choice between English and Romanian.

Data retention

Contact form submissions exist only as emails in a personal inbox. No structured data storage. Analytics data retention is governed by the respective third-party services.
