Questions
Can I hire Horia Stan for online mixing and mastering from outside Romania?
Yes. Most projects are fully remote. You send stems online, I send mixes back, and all feedback happens in writing with timestamped notes. Artists from Latin America, the US, the UK, and the rest of Europe work this way.
Do you mix vocals in Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages?
Yes. I do not need to speak the language to mix it. A lyric sheet is enough for tuning, timing, and editing decisions.
Can you get the polished, heavily edited pop vocal sound?
Yes. Tight pitch correction, aligned doubles, layered harmonies, and controlled sibilance are a daily part of my vocal work. If the song needs a more natural, live feel, I edit less and keep the performance in front.
What do I need to send for a remote mix?
Consolidated 24-bit WAV stems that all start at bar one, the rough mix, BPM and key, and one or two reference tracks. Dry vocals plus any effects you want to keep, printed separately.
How long does mixing and mastering take?
Usually 2-3 days per song, depending on genre, track count, and how many vocal takes need editing. Two revision rounds are included on the mix.
